# 3. Token Mechanism

The governance token for predicting the market is called X Predict Market Token, or POT for short. The total is 21 million and no additional issuance is allowed. POT will be used to the governance of prediction market, including but not limited to the voting of initial proposal, pledge as node, reporting node, platform governance voting, etc.

By definition, POT is a governance token that can only be used in X Predict Market prediction market. Except for the right to use POT on a properly completed and deployed platform as a means of using the platform and interacting on the platform, the ownership of POT has no express or implied right.

POT is a non refundable functional token, which does not represent any shares, rights, ownership or interests of the foundation or any other company, enterprise or operator, nor does POT give token holders any commitment on income, fees, profits or return on investment. POT also does not constitute securities in Singapore or any relevant jurisdiction.

The Distribution of POT is：

***Fundraising***: 20% of the total supply

***Ecosystem Growth***: 15% of the total supply, reserved for marketing, partnership and exchange listing

***Team & advisors***: 10% of the total supply; 10% on listing, then 30% quarterly

***Liquidity Fund***: 20% of the total supply, reserved for the fund for liquidity on Uniswap and other exchanges

***Pool Reserved for mining***: 35%, reserved for the network incentives after the launch of mainnet<br>
